Damballa Names Kevin Heineman Vice President of Engineering
Heineman joins the Damballa executive management team, reporting to CEO Val Rahmani, and has overall responsibility for product development and engineering
ATLANTA—September 28, 2010—Damballa, the company transforming the fight against cyber threats, today announced that Kevin Heineman has joined the company as vice president of engineering. Heineman joins the Damballa executive management team, reporting to CEO Val Rahmani, and has overall responsibility for product development and engineering.

Heineman brings nearly 20 years of engineering and software development expertise to Damballa. He was most recently at Hewlett-Packard following the highly valued acquisition of SPI Dynamics. At SPI Dynamics he served as vice president of software engineering, where he helped the company achieve five years of 10 percent year-over-year revenue growth. While at SPI Dynamics, Heineman grew the engineering team from four to 70 people, and led the team to win 25 industry awards for their products. Prior to SPI Dynamics, he was director of e-commerce software development at Worldspan, now known as Travelport.
